ONLINE VIDEO - News

In mid-2006, it was decided that Online Video would produce its final tape devoted to trams and trolleybuses. This was released at the end of the year. Both Wilf and Martin are proud of their large and unique library of video tapes which have been produced during the past two decades. They have been overwhelmed by the support and generosity of generations of enthusiasts some sadly now passed on. Without them the whole enterprise would not have been possible. For the future – all the catalogue remains fully available in DVD format from the usual outlets. Wilf Watters will continue to produce tapes mostly to raise money for those preservation movements near to his heart. As its Chairperson, Martin Jenkins now devotes time and energy to Online Transport Archive, a UK registered Charity whose aim to is to conserve and preserve transport collections of films, slides and negatives. Both Wilf and Martin have been working closely together to ensure vulnerable collections are not disposed of or thrown away. They would urge everyone to visit the Online Transport Archive website via the link below.
